.50 Caliber Flintlock, 42" Rifled Octagon Barrel, Full Maple Stock
I started this project over the Spring and recently finished it in time for a Contemporary Longrifle Association show a few weeks ago.
I fabricated the stock from Curley Maple and installed a GM .50 caliber barrel, Jim Chambers lock, and a Davis set-trigger.
The style is aimed at the conflict of cultures which took place along the Ohio and Kentucky borders during the 18th century.
It's a bit tricky for me to load pictures so I will add them over the next couple of days. I'll start from the beginning....
