Veterans interested in telling their story..

Got this email from someone that read the Jungle Jewel story. Respond to her directly if interested.

I'm the Artistic Director of Theatre One Productions in Middleboro, a non-profit theatre company that performs out of the Alley Theatre in Middleboro and the Middleboro Library. We sometimes along with regular stage productions, incorporate a New work series by New England and New York Playwrights.

My question to you is do you know any Veterans who would be interested in telling their story about the experiences of war through the art of play writing?

This would entail a 10 to 70 min script and with the use of actors rehearsed with a director and playwright, hear his or her words and through the process of rewrites, if necessary, developed for a stage reading, in front of a live audience for feedback, and develop the play for a potential full production.

Thank you

I'd be game, but I have no idea who would be able to find the midgets, circus clowns, and portable dancing pole on such short notice. I could probably put together a 40 minute story with 20 minutes available for questions.

I can already see Antonio Bandaras playing my part,,,

I will now express myself thru dance....

I'm sure they'll find the loudest, most vociferous poser known to man with hair raising tales of baby killing, murder and mayhem....so bad he can hardly tell the tale (except you can't shut him up for hours).

Guaranteed.

No vetting will be done, and the more outrageous the tale, the more they will love it.
