Moezilla Fire Fox
ISpell doesn't work with it. But I still like it.

Agreed. I'm a big fan of Firefox. Combined with some new Linux on my laptop (installed by my darling and much-smarter-than-myself wife), I'm getting absolutely zero of the virus/spyware/infiltration problems I received previously.

If anybody runs across a spell check for it, please post the link.

NDD: On a related note, you might want to have a look at Evolution. Used it previously (before setting up a web interface to the IMAP-SSL server) and thought it was very good.

NDD, Something that is very nice about FireFox is the extensions you can add to it. These extensions add new functions to FireFox for you to customize your browser.
There are numerous spell checker extensions. In your FireFox browser select "Tools" and then select "extensions". This will show you which extensions you are using...select the "get more extensions" in the lower right. This will show the recommended list of different extensions. Some of these are very, very cool...I use some of these for development myself.
I haven't tried this one, but here's a link you can try:
http://spellbound.sourceforge.net/
Or use Google to find some:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&c...hecker&spell=1

Firefox is the Sh*t. Thanks guys for pointing it out. One question though. How do you disable the pop-ups blocker. I.e. it won't open PM's in a seperate window, the tool bar say's "Blocked pop-up" or something to that effect and I can't find the window to temp disable them for this site.

Smokin Joe, I don't know if this will work on Fire Fox, but I have the google pop up blocker on my IE. When you get a PM notification if you first hold down the control key then click on "ok" it should open the second window.

Thanks Dan, I downloaded it and will try it out. I was looking through the extentions in the program. A lot of cool stuff. I've got one that gives me the DHS alert level in a little box in the bottom of the browser.

Joe, when you get a blocked pop-up, you can click in the warning message right under the URL line, and there's an option to allow pop-ups for that site.
You can also go to Tools--->Options, then click Web Features along the left hand side. The first item on the list on the right is Block Pop Up Windows. You can uncheck that, or leave it checked, but click on Allowed Sites and enter the URL for this site and other sites where you want to allow pop-ups.

Do you have to dump IE when you upload Firefox, or can you keep both available?
What is the downside to Firefox? Sites that won't open or run correctly, etc.?

No downside to firefox when compared to internet explorer. Its an open source program and a collaborative (sp?) effort between many sources to release the best web browser possible. I like it much better than IE.

No, you can run both on the same machine with no problem whatsoever.
There are Micro$oft based websites that will not allow a non-micosoft browser to view the site content....
I believe there is an extension for Firefox to allow it to masquarade as IE...

There are very few sites that does not work with non-IE browsers. This may be due to the coding of the site. It is a rare issue nowadays.
An other example is my bank which requires a special plugin for secure transfer of data. Most popular plugins are available though.
