Sad to say it, but it's obvious by that clip that they weren't thinking at all.

It's a good thing that some of the body's functions operate subconsciously or non-thinking people wouldn't be able to function at all.

The UPP Police Pacifying Unit seems to be running into its share of problems and then some.

One of the UPP poster children was embarrassingly indicted for torture as she was speaking in the US at a Google Ideas Summit.

In some ways not unexpected, but still disappointing to see.

The Brazilian favela/UPP laboratory, if not an effective solution, certainly looks like an environment worth watching closely as it looks like one of the best opportunities to test and adjust a future focused fight in the megaslums.

Thank God it was only a CS grenade. Those other officers should have been much further back from the firing line. After watching it a couple of times I almost got the idea that she might have done that on purpose. I don't think she'll ever be a major league pitcher either.
