Police Academy training, in AZ
My wife is an RSO/coach in her women only shooting school/club. Today, a police female officer, on the force for 8 years, joined the club. Regardless of her previous experience she had go through the basic orientation course. My wife's first impression was that this woman was way too small to be a cop. Then, the instructor had the them do a "dominant eye" test. The cop was left eye dominate and shot right eyed as instructed at the academy. She was terrible. After she was told to shoot with her left eye, she shot nothing but bullseyes. She was shocked at the improvement.
I'm becoming less and less impressed with the quality of the police in the country.
