Look on the bright side of things. Every single time an idiotic judicial decision like this gets handed down more middle of the road voters decide that the conservatives have been right all along. The '06 elections could be downright ugly for the dems. There is no doubt in my mind that the SCOTUS will reverse this if it even gets that far. In my mind this is the single minded triumph of political correctness over common sense.

My understanding was that the court ruled colleges could ban military recruiters becuase the military discriminates against homosexuals. I would assume that 3 letter agencies have no such rules banning sexual orientation and therefore could not be banned under this decision.

I find it a little ironic that the Universities who espouse freedom of speech and expression will prohibit the DOD, whose servicemen actually guarantee this freedom with their own blood, have the unmittigated gaul to allow this crap.

Unfortunately these same "bastions of higher learning" are the very institutions that espoused and defends the PC way of life. As everyone knows, PC is nothing more then abridging that freedom of speech that the liberal profs do not like. However it is ok to belittle anything conservative or that contains even minor common sense.

They have their hands out for the Govt dole, but refuse military recruiters access.
Simple solution...Cut off federal funds to those institutions who refuse mil recruiters.
F--k em!

If I were a recruiter I would hold a recruiting meeting right outside the street by the main gate. And I would bring lots of offensive looking guns, especially a couple of C9s.
