Smart handgun comes to market. They want to market it like an iphone...

You let the free enterprise system take over. Just like everyone opted into the iPhone and abandoned the flip phone and BlackBerry, consumers will vote with their feet. We want gun owners to feel like they are dinosaurs if they aren’t using smart guns.

Shouldn't this be in the Comedy Zone?

The idea, though serious, only deserves mockery.

Kill switch, tracking, product registration for customer support in case you need a replacement watch, yada yada....

This may be marketable to new gun buyers seeking personal protection but otherwise afraid of guns in general and they may accept this as a valid safety technology.
