Manufacturers Change Look of AR-15; Rifle Is Now Legal in New York State, By Charles C. W. Cooke. February 10, 2014 11:50 AM

Pass a stupid law, get a stupid result. This, Clash Daily reports, is a remodeled AR-15, and it is legal in New York despite the state’s “assault weapons” ban.

When the opponents of “assault weapon” bans argue that it is preposterous for the state to ban firearms based on the way they look, they really mean it. It is. The rifle in the photograph above is no more or less powerful than the one that has been banned; it just looks different. And, because the SAFE Act was, typically, interested only in cosmetic questions, a simple change to its aesthetic rendered the rifle legal once more.

They were getting to be pretty funny looking here before someone came up with the idea for the "bullet button". That was a brilliant idea because it semi-permanently affixed a 10rd magazine to the lower, thus making it a non-detachable magazine firearm. In that configuration you can then keep the pistol grip, flash suppressor and bayonet lug. For the past few years though even that has been coming under attack by the liberal politicians here in Kalifornia.

CA and NY CCW holster

from L.A.G. Tactical

HTML Code:
This is our Dianne Feinstein rig. Its approved by CA and NY DOJ for CCW. It is extremely impractical, unnecessarily large and would leave the wearer unable to access their firearm. We'll send some out to Feinsteins bodyguards, I'm sure they will love them.

A Keltec su-16 would be a good ban gun since it has no pistol grip or bayonet lugs. You would have to take off the flash hider though. Mini-14 would be a good option as well.
