I have a Daniels 16" AR .556 that I kill paper from 50-500yards.. Looking at a "buy once cry once" optic that will last me a lifetime.. The rifle could be used as a HD weapon as well.. I read some reviews from back in 2006 (on here)that were not so positive on the Elcan.. Just curious if it has regained the "professionals" trust or is there a better route for what I use the gun for?? I started thinking i wanted a NF 2.5-10x42 but dont really like the look of a scope on the AR also considered the SWFA 1-6 ... Recently I have been hooked on the ACOG or Specter DR ... Most of you probably have used these in battle situations and i highly value your opinion...
