I think everybody's gonna be somewhat surprised at the vehemence that will be shown by conservatives in general next November; leading up to that date, it will start to be more obvious.

Me? I would prefer the government stay out of the business of telling us what to do. Citing the pledge of allegiance, IMHO, has absolutely nothing to do with patriotism and everything to do with politicians trying to appear patriotic and distracting people from real problems.

deeds, not words.
I did not care for the pledge when i was in school. Even back then, I thought that it was a form of forced patriotism being rammed down my throat (and i have a character flaw that pre-disposes me to enjoy making waves)
BUT.
I have served for 21 years.
