Shall we play a game?

Much of the nation stuck in snow...

"Shall we play a game?"

"How about a nice game of chess ?"

"Let's play, global thermonuclear war."

Hat tip to Matthew Broderick and the old (1983) movie War Games.

A potentially unsettling game program...the casualty, city and ordnance options create some spooky scenarios. Plug in any city from Pyongyang to Tehran...when you open the link the program seems to default on NYC. There is even an ordnance selection for "crude nuclear terrorist" ...or as GB would say...Nu-clear.

Nukemap...

Nailed it.

Even GB occasionally enjoyed a laugh at his own usual pronunciation.

For some that's already their worst nightmare.

Edit: LMAO - must be IP-based. When the default screen popped up the first location was Milwaukee on the other side of the state. Well, awwlllll-righty then!

The downtown portion of the city proper is a blight upon... aw, I dunno, is it worth a nuke?
