America isn't really in danger of decline
Josef Joffe who is a professor at Stanford University and editor of German magazine Die Zeit thinks that economically, America is doing fine and not in any danger at all.
He's more optimistic and less cynical than I am.

lol I'll go elsewhere for a pep-talk.
Joffe's a Harvardite (probably Obama's old Soduku coach), and "Die Zeit" is Germany's "Time". Leans to the left far enough to fall over.
Good intel to assimilate immediately before receiving a call from a polling agency regarding favorability of Obama's policies, though.
The timing is suspect; I don't put anything past this regime.
This Country could rebound in a few years, solidly, by emulating the Dakotas, not hanging on the fake encouragement of a left-of-center journo.

I read Die Zeit, Suddeutscher Zeitung, Frankfurter Allgemeine, Der Spiegel, and Stern.
Die Zeit is actually pretty centrist and a better comparison would be to the Christian Sceince Monitor. Der Spiegel is a closer comparison to Time.
