Not me

Not me. Me and my Cheese stay well away from airports these days.

How could there be a shooting at an airport? That's a gun free zone.

I see Myth Busters was involved in a minor way - Tony was in the vicinity.

Was on my way to catch a flight at LAX. Total mess. Turned around when I tuned into the news. Don't need to go to LV that bad today.

My guess would have been that the TSA agent shot himself.....

This is coming weeks after the "dry ice bombs" by a TSA agent at the same airport. My money is on TSA agent again, and using a DHS issued weapon/ammo...

My first knee jerk reaction was the same as Pete's

Tory Belleci and Grant Imahara from Mythbusters were in the terminal at the time: Mythbusters

When I was a dispatcher at Golden West Airlines, our office was in that terminal and had a window onto the passenger area. An incident like this would have been very interesting, to say the least. I'm not sure how it would have effected our ops. This was loooooong before the TSA was invented.

I guess now we'll have to go through screening before going through screening.

I am waiting for....

The citizens of the US need to be disarmed and the TSA should be allowed to carry firearms.

Oh, there were quite a few "celebrities" who were at LAX and have been tweeting about it.

My favorite so far is from Katey Sagal:

Quote:
"Just boarding for Tampa from LAX#LAXShooting lockdown the past 6 hours. but yeah right, no need for gun control!
Pleeeze...
Super sad."
My response to her:

It might be a good idea to tell the writers and producers of your show @SonsofAnarchy to stop glorifying gun violence.

I'm sure, but they're not going to give Adam an idea for a new episode.

This has nothing to do with the LAX shooting except that on the news they made a big deal out of the fact that "Obama" was called and told about the shooting. Really? I just don't get this. Obama was called. Not someone in his administration, but Obama himself. I find it ironic because of a shooting at the LAX and they needed to call Obama. Apparently Obama doesn't know anything about fast and furious, the IRS scandal, who was really responsible to Benghazi or how screwed up his Obama care website is or any of the other important issues, but rest easy citizens, Obama has been called about the shooting.

Now here is where some will say well I think the president should have been called. It's proper protocol, etc. etc. Do you still believe in that? This f**k** doesn't know anything about anything, apparently, but he needs to get a call about the shooting.

When Benghazi was being attacked and people were dying, he apparently did not get a call. When they made up the story about the attack being in response to a bullshit video, he wasn't included in that call. When Lois Lerner says she's done nothing wrong and then takes the fifth, oh Obama he don't know nothing about that. When we're monitoring the private phone calls of other leaders of the free world, he don't nothing about that either!

I've never seen a president who don't know nothing about so many things, but I feel really good knowing Obama was called about the shooting at LAX. I wonder what hole he was playing when he got the call?
