60 Minutes Benghazi piece

If you didn't get a chance to see it, 60 Minutes did a piece on Benghazi.

http://patdollard.com/2013/10/watch-...k-by-al-qaeda/

Some of their twitter quotes ....

Quote:
“They knew what they were doing. That was a well-executed attack” – Andy Wood on the #Benghazi attackers
Quote:
Contrary to early WH statements, Benghazi was a planned, sophisticated attack by Al Qaeda against the barely protected American compound
Quote:
“You are going to get attacked in #Benghazi,” a security official says he told Amb Stevens 3 months b/f the assault on the U.S. mission

'We were wrong': CBS's Lara Logan apologizes for Benghazi report

A primary source for the "60 Minutes" report on October 27 was a security contractor using the pseudonym "Morgan Jones," later identified as Dylan Davies. Davies told CBS he was able to reach the Benghazi compound on the night of September 11, 2012, scale a wall and even fight off a militant.

Logan responded Friday to questions from CBS' Norah O'Donnell, who pressed her for details about Davies.

"What we know now is, he told the FBI a different story to what he told us," Logan said. "That was the moment for us when we realized that we no longer had confidence in our source and we were wrong to put him on air, and we apologize to our viewers."

And so it goes...

Does anyone have any other indications that what this guy was saying is not true? I could not get a copy of the book. What I know so far is that CBS did the story and then suddenly out of the blue NYT's gets information from "government sources" that this guy is a fraud?

Then his book is suddenly taken out and the publisher is trying to recall copy's of the book? Real military scumbag frauds hardly get such quick and coordinated treatment.

Is he a fraud or not? It just seems all really abrupt considering how long he has been around.

(If it cannot be answered I understand...just another bizarre incident for the history books of this time period in US history.)

Lara Logan is on the administrations hit list over her Fast & Furious, so maybe he is another Karl-Heinz Kurras, or maybe someone threatened him, or offered him a big pay day, or maybe he is just a liar,

What ever he is, it comes at a good time for the O.

I have read the book and it has some pretty damning evidence that there was total disregard for security procedures and a critical short staffing of security personnel. It is kind of strange on how fast they are trying to get this book out of circulation. I am not sure that I place any trust in information that comes from government sources on the authors credibility. The governments credibility was shot when they tried to blame the event on some You Tube video that hadn't been heard of prior to the event. It will be interesting to know what goes on in the closed door testimonies by the CIA personnel that were on the ground, but very seriously doubt any of that will ever be released

Seems like they're trying to get rid of Logan, and this is their excuse.

Benghazi was a long time ago; why does everyone hate HRC and BHO?
