Recd. a request for a donation from these folks today in the mail, they have a nice web site and of course a noble cause. If they will not use the bulk of what I send them for overhead I may send them a check. Then again I would hate to see it built only to be closed for a govt. shutdown when I go out to visit it. BG Creighton Abrams Jr. (RET) is the Executive Director.

I wouldn't give them a dime. They've been on Belvoir for 12 years and haven't done squat but employ retired COLs. During the same time the Marine Corps managed to build and open their museum several years ago. Don't throw your money away subsidizing retired O-6s.
