Captain Shaun Wilkinson

http://www.gazettelive.co.uk/news/du...pecial-5430928

A pilot was forced to make a dramatic crash landing at Durham Tees Valley Airport after his plane’s undercarriage failed.

Captain Shaun Wilkinson, an ex-special forces serviceman, was coming in to land at a private airfield when he realised there was a mechanical fault with his Piper Seneca PA34-200T aircraft.

Glad he's ok.

Durham Tees is an airport in Northern UK. CPT Wilkinson is not a USASF officer - "an ex-special forces serviceman" would either be SAS, SBS, or RMC by the British definition of SF and its use.

Glad he and his passenger are OK, though.
