I thought unisex clothes meant we all wear the same thing. This article looks like we each get different styles??

These uniforms are built for specific genders, male OR female. They are not unisex..
The Unisex uniform is what the ladies have been bitching about..

Really???? I thought all people were the same and we didn't need to make changes because the gals could cut the mustard without special help!
I am just grumpy because today is No Money Monday for me because the Army doesn't have enough money.

"...the new alternate features a wider fit at the hips, waist, and backside, with an elastic waistband rather than a pull-string. Adjustments were also made to the pockets and the rise in the pants shortened. Knee pad inserts were added to the pants, while elbow pads were added to the shirts — for additional comfort and protection."
So basically, they want to fit female soldiers with bigger waists, hips, and butts.
Have they seen our female soldiers before?
Maybe a tight uniform is a clue to skip the chow hall and get to the gym.
Naaah, nevermind.

FOG
Arrrrgggghhhhhh .... color me a Frumpy Old Guy!
Hell, why not go back to the OG cotton sateen fatigues??? That uniform looks much better -- ya can't hide the fat in that uniform! Even the BDUs of 1981/82 weren't so huge; today's ACU makes people look like walking tents -- at least the ones I've seen here (granted, USAR here). What happened to the cut? I was able to get my company issued jungle fatigues in the late 80s (Chejudo Island) and even those looked trim. Now, it's as if the tailor is Omar the Tent Maker and all his clients are fat. I'm guessing the disruptive/digital camouflage design isn't working since I can see such large targets.
And while we're at it, let's get back to a uniform like Pinks & Greens -- and look like soldiers. Thank God they finally got rid of that Girl Scout green shirt. I cried when I couldn't wear my khaki shirt anymore! And none of this junk all over the jacket -- heck, many soldiers today look like the Iranian Air Force pilots we used to laugh at.
And what's with all the velcro? Is that to save the troop money?
I'm gonna commit heresy here: At least the Marines still look military.
