This almost belongs in the comedy zone because the source is sketchy, it may be parody and the attire of the activist....however I know a few people who have the same views about firearms and pull out similar stats when debating firearms.

Doesn't take much in many cities. Hell, in Minneapolis you can take a nice evening stroll but don't cross to the 'wrong' side of Hennepin Ave. That other side is enough to make people do that primal clenching of the legs with a desire to close their eyes & curl up in the fetal position. Worthwhile OJT in my view; and they can even keep their Crackberry (especially since it has almost as much street value as a pair of sneakers, both having more than your life).
