CLACKAMAS COUNTY, Ore. -
After an increase in crime, residents of an Oregon neighborhood have decided to take up arms instead of involving the police.

According to the DailyMailOnline, neighbors have organized what they call a ‘Glock Block,’ after several residents obtained concealed carry permits.

Fliers posted around the neighborhood read, 'This is a Glock Block, We don't call 911.'

While most of the crime has involved incidents of petty theft and vandalism, residents still say they have had enough.

The group says they practice responsible use of weapons.

Police have caution the group against pursuing vigilante justice if crimes are spotted.

Police make a note of cautioning anyone from pursuing vigilante justice, though armed citizens have become more common deterrents to crime.

As long as you do not put them in a closet after you taze em you might be ok . The sign is a real attention getter, more effective than a Neighborhood Watch sign.

I wouldn't let would-be robbers know I may have guns in my house. They can realize they got lucky and hit a house with a Glock .45 simultaneous with the personal knowledge of experiencing an expensive hollow point's shrapnel's trajectory.

This is my mo that works for National Forest Resource crime (short version) in case the OR folks are reading:

Setup hidden 24/7 night vision cams (few know how to detect them) that are motion activated. Determine any patterns or if detected while being monitored and they are not known to you, follow them.

Call Leo's and provide them the facts and still images. They like it. Word gets out, only had to do it once this year and they were new to area.

If you still want to make contact the cameras will be your friend if you do the right thing. Just because they're kids doesn't mean they are harmless, sometimes quite the opposite.
