Interesting points:
1.) PDA with ballistic software (they still call them PDA's?) collects your data and speeds up your dope calcs.
2.) Kestral wx device (we were talking about some of this in the Linux thread; not sure what model the teams have but when I left we only had those in the DZSO box and they were just for wind readings, these seem pretty highspeed)

I like the combat focus attitude that the instructors have. When I went to ANCOC our class project was how to make the Q-Course better. We were one of the first classes where almost everyone there had been to A-Stan, Iraq, or the PIs and seen combat. They wanted to know with our combat experiences what could be changed or improved.
They didn't like the answer, which was to incorporate combat focused tasks like GMV training, Heavy weapons tng for all, CQB charges for 18Cs, MBITR training for all, TCCC class for all, CAS for all, etc etc.
The CSMs that were there for the brief said, "You guys want to make this an O-course!
" and that was that.
Looks like at least someone over at 2nd Bn SWC got what we were trying to say.
Anyway, I know a few of you are snipes and a few are actually instructors, just wondering your thoughts on the new course?
