Chinese Grenade training sure does not look like US Grenade training. Must not have the blue ones to give a few practice throws with.

I saw something very similiar to that happen at Ft. Lewis back in '83 when I was in the 9th ID.

We had a female MP who was something of a klutz draw her arm back to throw a grenade and she dropped it. Right quick, a respected Company NCO who was acting as a safety kicked it into the sump, threw her to the ground and covered her body with his. He took a few fragments of shrapnel in his legs and ended up receiving a Soldiers Medal from Division Comander, MG Riscassi.
