For those of you with little ones or for those interested in space, this is a pretty cool opportunity. I just did this for my 5yr. old daughter and she was excited.

"Your name will be written to a DVD and sent into Mars orbit on the MAVEN spacecraft."
You can enter your name, family name, name of a loved one or friend in remembrance (or if you are a teacher, your class name.) Once submitted, you can print out the certificate of participation to hang on the wall. There is also a contest where you can submit a haiku and the top 3 will be featured on the MAVEN webpage, as well as on the spacecraft.
