Finally -- he is showing signs of putting the best interest of the country first. Don't let it be said that I'm not a 'cup half full', kinda gal.

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.

Sometimes the good idea fairy strikes in the most unexpected of places. That doesn't mean people always listen however... too bad.

Clinton taught him to do that endearing little "bite-my-lower-lip" thing. It has "shucks" written all over it.

I saw that headline yesterday and the first thought that came to my mind was, "I'll back the truck up."

Too bad it's all for naught.

He also kept referring to different issues as being " hard" ( to deal with/solve )... It all took me back. We have come a long way from presidents like JFK and Reagan who could use leadership and experience to unite people, tackle problems, and inspire...
