Obama uses executive power to move gun control agenda forward

Obama uses executive power to move gun control agenda forward

President Obama is quietly moving forward on gun control.

The president has used his executive powers to bolster the national background check system, jumpstart government research on the causes of gun violence and create a million-dollar ad campaign aimed at safe gun ownership.

The executive steps will give federal law enforcement officials access to more data about guns and their owners, help keep guns out of the hands of criminals and the mentally ill, and lay the groundwork for future legislative efforts.

Yes, "Dear Leader" is coming to CO next week to gloat and rub our noses in the recent legislative tragedy that has befallen us.

To begin, let's see what these ad's possibly will contain...hmmm.

It will begin with his highness riding in on a valiant steed with his jesters riding in tow on donkeys (see: asses). They are to make an appearance at the local gun range for an inspection. On lanes 1-7 are the local right wing extremists, but with only single shot .22 rifles. No big deal. But lo and behold what do our eyes see on lane 8...A burly, slack jawed, spit bubble blowing Bluto look-alike toting an evil Ar-15 with pistol grip(s), lasers, flash lights, and a mounted bayonet. A child is also present. Apparently Bluto is teaching his son how to use the AR-15.

Big O announces his presence and commands Bluto to place his evil WMD on the bench and step away. Bluto does as asked, but negligently lets one loose into his highnesses steed, wounding it. The jesters surround and arrest Bluto. Big O states to the child, "That could have been you my son". Then the slogan flashes on the telescreen "Think of the children".

In reference to the second part I highlighted, how are they going to access "more data about guns and their owners"? A national registry for ALL firearms? Have the goat experiments started again? Do I need to brush up on my clairvoyance skills to be able to counter such activities?

The press is comprised of subjects totally loyal to the king.

People don't want to give up their food stamps, TV's, phones, apartments, etc.

There's only a handful of Republicans in Congress with an IQ higher than a sloth and balls bigger than a bb.

Educators worship him, for the most part.

Hollywood glamorizes "Weather Underground" behavior, and mindless twits glamorize Hollywood.

Because this requires congress to work together. And honestly given the PC problem in our country I don't see the current group of parasites impeaching the first minority president our country has seen unless he does something truly astronomical and not simply attempting to rip up the Constitution (something plenty of people have been trying to do for years).

Benghazi is astronomical enough.

Maybe politicians should be the first ones subjected to post-birth abortions...

...some of them are dead inside anyway, so there wouldn't be any harm done.

The odor emanating from the "Whitehouse" is enough to make a patriots eyes water. Say what you will but "He" will stop at nothing to achieve his agenda, and its got nothing to do with our constitution. Buckle up.

I'm OK with it. If third trimester abortions are OK why not 220th trimester? We can always exempt non-politicians.

"Executive power" has come to mean "action taken regardless of the wishes of the majority of the Country".

Now is the time?

Create serious punishments for gun trafficking:
Today, criminals can easily buy guns from unlicensed dealers, or acquire them with the help of so-called “straw purchasers” who pass the required background check to buy guns from licensed dealers. But there is no explicit law against straw purchasing, so straw purchasers and others who traffic guns can often only be prosecuted for paperwork violations.
We cannot allow those who help put guns into the hands of criminals to get away with just a slap on the wrist. Congress should close these loopholes with new gun
trafficking laws that impose serious penalties for these crimes.
Really... Aren't there "laws" on the books already that if broken can put people away for quite a while?
How many rules do we need? We have so many laws on the books that we can't remember which ones trump the next...

How about this; Sentence these law breakers severely the first time.
and while we're at it why not some prison reform? Take away the lavish prison yards (I'm thinking they should be more like the recent "Longest Yard" movie) and all the other "amenities" and let them serve real hard time...
to hell with what the psychologist says about inmates and boredom... Let them be bored and kill each other... <SMH>

Seriously, why not spend more money on our kids education or our infrastructure instead of making sure these criminals get "three hots-n-a-cot" and more rights than my dead grandmother.

Rant off, my apologies...

Straw purchase is the purchase for someone else.

Form 4473 question 11a. Also further on the 4473 form where you sign there is a statement that the individual will be punishable as a felony under federal law.

Laws already exist.
