77 YO Green Beret Runs 60th Marathon While Caring For His Wife.

Wanted to share this inspiring love story:
http://articles.latimes.com/2013/mar...athon-20130313

"When his wife's degenerative illness confined her to a wheelchair in 1995, Creel made the decision that he would be her primary caretaker. When the stress from that decision became overwhelming, he began running for relief."

Sounds like Mr. Creel is a wonderful man.

He's the SP4 on the far right in the team pic taken in khakis in Bad Tölz. Notice the first issue SF SSI with the teal blue/gold AIRBORNE tab on his uniform.

Attchd PDF is a copy of the SF Association Chapter 78's newsletter with a story on Mr Creel.

Made my day. Thanks.

Richard

I would love to try to help this gentleman install an electric wheelchair stairlift to help him and his wife. Any suggestions on how to do it?
