Interesting Texas Exploration!

This is on a Ranch that I hunted on, conducted MANY July 4th Machinegun Shoots on and generally had fun on for 20+ years!! The posts that I've made about my kids learning to shoot and living in a tent for a few weeks every year were in the mountains above this place. It's really quite incredible, there have been numerous divers that never came back from the "Phantom Spring Cave"!!

This is just outside of Balmorhea, Texas.

Cool. I've never seen the cave but have swum several times in Balmorhea springs when stopping enroute to Big Bend.

If you go to the bottom end of the link, where there are camera pan shots, when it's looking over their blue and white "tent/cover" the mountain to the right is Mount Annie and to the left is Timber. They are about 15 miles from their location to the S/SW and that is some bad-assed country between them!!

Later
