Bill - Can you identify?

Mr. Harsey,
Can you identify this knife? The stains on the blade are from reformatting the pic.

Somewhere a True Believer is training to kill you. He is training with minimal food or water, in austere conditions, training day and night. NDD, Going on memory only, that looks like a World War Two era "Marine Raider Bowie" as made by Case. This could also be a more recent copy of the design by someone else but looks very true to the original design.

It also looks like a miniature knife in the image shown because of the size of the board it's on.

I was waiting for Bill to answer before I put my two cents worth in.

Looks like a Case Bowie to me as well. Seen several of them used for presentation knives.

Man, you guys are good. Collins #18 - known as the Raider Bowie or Gung Ho knife.

A lot of people don't even know what a Raider is, much less aboput their knife.

They are very much tied into the combatives lines we were talking about in the bear pit.
