Little girl SCHOOLS the boys.
She doesn't just run the ball, watch to the end as she quite often sacks the quarterback.

Pretty impressive
Pretty impressive for her age group.
High School level play will be a bit harder - but then she will be a bit better also.

I had to watch it twice!
That is the first thing that has been able to put a real smile on my face this week.
Hell, she takes some nice hits and even takes down some pretty good sized kids.
Good job Sam!

Thanks for that! My six year old is a tomboy and her name is Molly but I call her Moe because of her attitude. A couple of weeks ago she asked me if girls can play football, now I can show her this.

Everything is even at this age but when the testosterone kicks in, things change... But, good for her!

I allowed a female place kicker on our football team once and a female pitcher with an 87mph fastball on our baseball team - benefits of a small, private school - you get to use all the talent you have available vs the Ed bureaucracy's "Can't-ism" philosoophy.
As for Sam - "Atta girl!"

She's got some good moves. Able to stop, start, then cut back fairly easy. Also has a good eye to look for the openings in the line. If she can't find an opening, she gets around the corner and WHOOOOSH .... she's gone.
But .... she looks good in a couple of those clips because there is some LOUSY open field tackling on the other team(s). The ones where she does take a hit, (an give one), they are nice hits for her age group, but like Mark said above, as she continues on and the testerone kicks in later on with the boys .... whole 'nother ball game.
It's be fun to see her in five, ten, fifteen years from now.

I know her mom very well. They werent expecting all the attention its created. It was the second most viewed video next to Obama's victory speech on Youtube. The original had to be removed but other people have reposted it. Shes been on The View, Good Day America, NFL.com, and shes supposed to fly to NY next week for Ellen or Lenos show. I can get you autographs if youd like

So I expect everyone saying "attagirl" here would be just as supportive of Little Johnny playing on an all-girl sports team, even once he hits high school, right? I mean, equality means opportunities go both ways last I checked.

Sure why not. Except equality is a one way street for some.
I'm all for doing away with male/female sports - just have one team - make the cut or go home.

That's unfortunate, because she is far and above more competent and professional than the other person you speak of.
Good on her and her future in life. Just pass on to her parents they are doing a great job!

As Paul Harvey would say...and now, the rest of the story. My high school actually tried what I proposed above way back when. We had a male exchange student from Spain (where guys play field hockey), and he was allowed to play on the (all-female) field hockey team. Another guy decided to try out as well and made the cut. Our team dominated all others, and took the state title that year. Immediately thereafter, boys were prohibited by the state high school athletics governing body from playing on all-female teams. "Unfair advantage" was the stated reason. Apparently, equality sometimes means extra help for some, and restrictions on others to be "fair".
