Border Patrol Shooting was Likely Friendly Fire

It looks like the shooting of BP Agent Nicholas Ivie and the wounding of another agent was likely friendly fire...

I hate to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but given Eric Holder is the big boss of the FBI, I wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't the case. Maybe they have had indications this was done with fast and furious weapons, and are pawning it off as friendly fire because it is so close to election time.

A large article in today's The Arizona Republic indicates that the only brass found was from their caliber weapons, Ivie was alone, the other two (male and female) were together. They approached from different angles, and someone - the story said Ivie (but he's not around to defend himself) - got nervous and fired, and the others returned fire. It was 0130 and very dark in a very brushy area.

Sad...anyway you slice it.

Interesting. There was an 87% full moon that night. And they had horses.

So you think a gaggle of Feds (from both Border Patrol and FBI) would risk prison and their careers to conspire to suppress evidence and lie in order to protect someone appointed after they were hired by someone they likely didn't vote for? And with that lie they make their own officers (in the case of the Border Patrol) look negligent? Sounds plausible to me.
