Military ballot requests down in key battleground states

Military ballot requests down in key battleground states

Read more: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012...#ixzz285Y0Q1Xk

"Requests from military voters for absentee ballots have dropped significantly since 2008, according to newly released statistics, prompting claims that the Department of Defense is dragging its feet in enacting a law meant to boost military voting........."\

I don't think right now I'd be all so quick to blame the WH and the Military for the drop - like Fox news and the right is so willing to do.

First the request has to be made - then it falls to the Military and state/local election officials. But time is getting short - very short.

But if you don't vote - don't complain.

key battleground states

I know when I was stated in Colorado back during GWB first run. I registered in Co just so my Vote would count. Was registered so I knew where that was going to go.. Colorado needed my Vote. I did the same in NC.. I say if your military in a key battleground state, then registered in that state to get your vote in.

Just my .02

I highly encourage everyone to vote, particularly those whose lives are directly impacted by our country's leadership.
