Phil Hoffman

MSG(R) Phil Hoffman has passed away. He ran recon in Viet Nam with SOG and worked Operations for me at SOTIC. Rest in Peace warrior.

WHISPERING PINES - Retired Army Master Sgt. Philip Parker Hoffman, 62, of Whispering Pines, died Friday, Sept. 7, 2012.

Services: Funeral, 2 p.m. Saturday (15th) in Christ Fellowship Church.

Survived by: Wife, Margaret; sons, David and Michael; daughter, Melissa; and brother, Stephen.

Memorials: Wounded Warriors, woundedwarriorproject.org or specialops.org.

Fry & Prickett Funeral Home of Carthage.
