Murphy – In an average gathering of 100 Cherokee County residents, more than six legally may be carrying concealed handguns.

Cherokee County has the highest per-capita percentage of people holding concealed weapons carry permits in the state, according to the N.C. Department of Justice.

Hmmmm, maybe if this had been the situation about 180 years ago, there would not have been a "Trail of Tears."

6 out of 100...sounds like a liberal stronghold to me. Come on out to Maricopa or Yavapai Co. Az. 6 out of 100 carry open the other 94 are concealed.

Being from South Phoenix I would say out of those 94 concealed 30 were illegal lol
