He has lots of other things to do, believe me, and they have a green reptile.
I can't believe it took them this long. In an off-the-record situation he's quite candid and wears his feelings on his sleeve (and can tell some hilariously salty stories). Commercials are a part of film-making; and when you piss-off the pissants you might not work. So much for them.

I can give you a much better reason to cancel Geico...many many years ago I had them for auto insurance for myself and my wife. (first wife). 5 years of paying on time without a single claim. In a bad rainstorm my wife rear ended another car. Ended up totaling her car (a beater Mercury Lynx worth about 4K....I bought the salvage rights, rebuilt the front end for about $600 and she drove it for another 2 years.) The car she hit had approximately $1000.00 worth of damage. Geico notified me that they were going to cancel our insurance. Said, "by law they still had to provide liability." Which would have cost us nearly 3 times what we had been paying for full coverage. Before Geico had a chance to cancel my coverage, I dropped them for State Farm. I've been bad mouthing them every since.

agreed, that's fairly pathetic, well I will not be using Progressive either.

I enjoy many of their commercials, but I wouldn't get GEICO insurance because I don't want to consciously do anything to enrich America's wealthiest hypocrite, Warren Buffett. Of course, it's a pretty passive boycott since I've never had a reason to drop USAA anyway.
USAA did half-drop me, though, after an accident similar to that of 1stindoor's first wife. USAA sent me to their high-risk pool, which was through Progressive, until I "earned" the right to come back. I do have to say I don't like the idea that USAA partners (partnered?) with Progressive, given the politics of that company's leadership (the name is no coincidence).

USAA still partners with them. I have my auto with USAA but they do not provide insurance for motorcycles. Instead, they send those policies to Progressive, so that is who my bike insurance is with.

They must be feeling some pressure. Yesterday I heard a Geico radio ad urging listeners to join them in supporting the Wounded Warrior Project.
