Gay Activists Invited to WH to Flip the Bird at Reagan
lol Aren't libs classy?
http://washingtonexaminer.com/gay-ac...rticle/2500390
President Obama hosted a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) Pride event at the White House last week, and the activists made sure to indicate how much they dislike former President Reagan compared to the current occupant.
“[T]he murderous facial expression and double-barreled bird-flipping seem to speak for themselves,” The Philadelphia Post noted while observing the photo of Zoe Strauss, an artist from Philadelphia, flipping off the former president. The photo provoked positive feedback, generally, although one commenter said that “Haters of haters…..become….I don’t think he was and I hope you aren’t.”
According to the Post, Matthew Hart — director of public engagement at Solutions for Progress — also posted a photo of himself making the gesture at the Reagan portrait. The Post’s site is down now, but has more on the story. You can see the Strauss photo above. (Click link.)

Liberal? I see a Philadelphian. I see an artist. I (maybe) see a dyke or a Tranny.
But she dosn't look alike anyone I met at the Liberal Arts University I attended or the people who are not as conservative as others.
I see someone who is pretty full of themselves making a spectacle of themselves. I see an ass.
Some people should not be allowed to get dressed up and leave the house.

I'll bet she never got a pony when she was little and is still mad at her father.

Hosting these clowns at the peoples house, another proud moment for our president.

Which is probably the way she feels about President Regan. I don't agree with what you posted, or what she did. Both show a total lack of class.

Historians credit President Reagan for his instrumental role in bringing down the Berlin Wall.
What has Strauss contributed to the world?

An activitist making a political statement? I'm shocked!
I went to her FB blog - there are two pics - one of her and her partner kissing under the RR portrait; one the 'double birdie' gesturing - it's a two-fer of a crass statement.
Guess she was po'd because she couldn't get to the new GWB portrait so had to settle for ol' RR to make her infantile statement.
The comments in reaction to her gesture are interesting to read - not a lot of fan appreciation out there.
Politics...
And so it goes...

Someone in Philly should burn a rainbow flag at her "art" galery. Afterall it is free speach.
The fact that she was invited to the White House and allowed to take and use this photo does reflect on the judgement of the current President.

Sometimes in a parking lot, when the weather is cool, someone will leave their chihuahua or similar small dog in their car.
If you walk by their car, the dog will stand in the back window demonstrate its fury.
This is kinda how I view these acts of protest.
They can demonstrate their impotent chihuahua fury, but will be forgotten while Reagan's legacy endures.
The location is a shame, though.
