Test your knowledge of the War of 1812

Jayson here and given this is the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812, here is a pop quiz for everyone to challenge their knowledge.

The questions do somewhat relate more to Canadians/British, but it does provide some interesting historical facts.

It also reminded me just how little I know about the war (I scored a miserable 8 out of 15).

As a teacher, I possess a tremendous power to make a child’s life miserable or joyous. I can be a tool of torture or an instrument of inspiration. I can humiliate or heal. In all situations, it is my response that decides whether a crisis will be escalated or de-escalated and a child humanized or dehumanized.

15/15 for me. The answers are already there, I don't see how anyone could score less than a 15.
