1-10th SFGA HALO Jump Mont St Michel, Normandy

2 June 2012, as a part of the 68th D-Day commemoration ceremonies. Great way to spend a Saturday.

And so it goes...

IT WAS VERY AWESOME. Beautiful view and high winds. Here's a shot of me from my teammates GoPro helmet cam.

Great shot Gianitus. Two questions. That is a huge rig you are wearing. What size canopies are in it? Secondly, what is that metal bar at top left of picture?

370sq ft. http://www.parachuteshop.com/mc4_mil...ute_system.htm

Looks like his main handle. Or maybe his reserve handle depending on where the camera was mounted.

Thanks, thats a lot of F111. I should have guessed the handle, it just looked to me like part of the aircraft, something like the Skyvan static-line bar beneath the tail.
