This will either make you shake your head or "scratch your watch and wind your ass".

"The Environmental Protection Agency uses aerial surveillance across a swath of the Midwest know as Section 7 – which includes Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas and Missouri -- and has defended the practice as cost-efficient."
At least whatever it is they are up to is cost efficient. The article does little to answer just what they are up to. Awhile back the EPA was trying to figure out how to regulate the dust caused by harvesting crops here in the Mid-West, dust!

Furniture and More Made from Recycled Paper and Bovine Waste!

With the ability to be transformed into furniture, signage, displays and more, Ecor is an amazing moldable material made from recycled cardboard, old newsprint, and a variety of fibers, including those collected from cow pies. By adding heat and pressure to the pulp and fiber mixture, the resulting board material is a formaldehyde free, no VOC, super strength, and 100% recyclable alternative to wood.

Yeah, dust. I grew up in Spokane WA on the edge of one of the world's largest wheat producing areas. Even as I'm a big fan of bread and beer, harvest season can be pretty tough on allergies. Back in the olden days in the same area the grass seed folks (lots of them, there, too) used to burn their fields in the fall to stimulate growth. That smoke was pretty bad.

Interesting how "lawmakers" are questioning the surveillance and the possibility of violation of privacy. Hope they didn't spend too much money for that law degree, or maybe they fell asleep during their constitutional law class when they discussed the 4th Ammendment and the open fields doctrine.

Depends on where the field ends and the curtilage begins. Can putting a tent down by the stream on the back 40 extend your curtilage? Some say Yes.

First thing I would do if I were elected POTUS would be to defund the EPA. There would be clean water and air but a lot of hippies with a chip on their shoulder would be looking for work.
