This is a 219-page collection of stories like those posted in the Briefback forum here. If you like old war stories, you'll like this book. The stories are wide-ranging, taking place on the battlefield and in barracks, bars, brothels and latrines. Good stuff. Halberstadt throws in a few paragraphs on miscellaneous SF subjects at the end of each chapter, and there are some photos.
