State Capitol flags flown at half-staff in honor of Simi Green Beret

California Gov. Jerry Brown ordered flags to be flown at half-staff over the state Capitol Wednesday in honor of a Green Beret from Simi Valley who was killed last month in Afghanistan.

On behalf of all Californians, Governor Brown and First Lady Anne Gust Brown honor Staff Sgt.
