Fort Bragg soldier kayaking Cape Fear River for a cause

"Standing by the Cape Fear River on Wednesday afternoon, Master Sgt. Dominique Vidrine rolled his shoulders reflexively.

Yes, he said, he was a little sore after paddling close to 80 miles down the river over two days.

But it wasn't too bad, he said. Then he got back in his kayak to paddle some more.........."

Nice story to start the day. The River is there and it's easy to take short days trips.

That looks like Cadie, it is unclear what happened to him or what he was saying when he disappeared. We have quite a social life and banjos along our rivers. The nice thing about paddling down river is the cold beer at Carolina Beach
