National Guard SF units

I have been searching the forums and could not come across anything posted in relation to my question. I am in the National Guard and am looking to attend SFRE in attempts to go to SFAS. There are 4 SF units close enough for me to consider and I am wondering is there any difference in what each unit does? Aside from group level AO is there anything I should take into consideration before I make my choice on which unit to tryout with. I know all groups and units are the highest trained and more proficient out there so either way I will be with the best. Should I just try for the unit closest to me, or is there something else I need to look at before making a decision?

Thank you for any and all advice and information you can provide.

You might wanna personally contact the units you're interested in trying out for and arrange for a personal visit with them. I would.

Contact numbers can be found here in the stickies in the National Guard SF Groups forum below this one.

Just sayin'...
