Well gents looks like Uncle Sam is writing checks to cover retirement plans for many Afghan Officials.

Looking more like SOF fire bases will be more like what was in El Salvador and Vietnam. Live of the land and locals & medical MEDEVACs long coming. No more Ice cream, milk & soda will be local.

I read the version on Yahoo News this morning. We fund their security forces, medical care, and education for any number of years while promising to not use their location for strategic purposes.

Is this a virtual bow by Obama?

How is this to our benefit, strategic partnership? Not much of a partnership, short of them just taking our money.

"In order for Afghanistan to come out from all those challenges that we are facing right now we need a very strong partner, and that is the United States," said Farkhunda Zahra Naderi, a lawmaker from Kabul. Definition of strong partner, "someone willing to infuse our country with massive amounts of money." That would be money that we do not have.
