I remember meeting a 10th Group guy once. You could hear angels singing as he walked into the room. The lights dimmed somehow, but yet there was an amazing glow that seemed to follow this 7 foot tall chiseled statue of a God. I of course could barely remain standing as my knees were shaking so violently. He didn't speak to me, he only tapped me on my shoulder and walked away.

From that moment on I was a free man.

It's remarkable how much that statue resembles me........ Some one must have sent him a copy of a picture I had taken back in 1958 when I was a Tolz.........

Some of the coldest times of my life were spent with that flash. Oh the humanity of it all!!

My sniper "dolls" cost me less than 50 bucks each and with more detail.

I think that action figure is pretty cool. Wish I would have had one back when I used to play with dolls. It would have made a fine addition to my collection, and he and Han Solo could have gone at it mano a mano.

Interestingly enough, one of my favorite beers is Kloster beer, which I can only get when I am in Thailand. Don't know if it is the same company or not though...when we flew mission birds into the Kingdom, we would always pack the pallets with cases of Kloster beer and Mekhong whiskey on the way back out...
