Al Qaeda fanatic is DEAD
I do not want to go to the class these police had on CQC.
Who was the lead shooter,, when Mohammad Merah jumped to his death??

Al Qaeda fanatic is DEAD: Serial killer jumps out flat window with all guns blazing in dramatic end to 32-hour siege
- Mohammad Merah is dead after vicious gunfight
- Three police officers injured, one seriously, as they stormed his flat
- Decision to seize him 'came after he threatened to kill police'
- Had broken out of Afghan jail in 2008, was being tracked 'for years'
- Has Uzi machine gun, Kalashnikov assault rifle and other weapons
- Three police officers wounded as they tried to arrest him yesterday
The Toulouse terrorist burst out of his flat's bathroom 'shooting insanely' with a cache of weapons at police before leaping to his death from a window.
In scenes reminiscent of a Hollywood film, the 32-hour siege at the Al Qaeda terrorist's Toulouse home ended after the vicious gunfight.
Three officers were reportedly injured, with one now in a serious condition, as they stormed his flat.
Mohammad Merah, 23, unleashed round after round from an automatic weapon after gas cannisters were thrown into his apartment.
Sustained gunfire and loud explosions could be heard echoing around the neighbourhood from around 11.30am.
As the cross-fire continued, dozens of emergency workers standing outside beside ambulances and fire engines held their ears because of the noise.

Read somewhere, dunno where, that he was hiding in the bathtub while the cops were searching his apartment. The furious gunfight was him opening the bathroom door and hosing them down.

I find this disconcerting. At what point "under surveillance" was he able to "purchase" the guns and ammo?
