Thumbs up Thank You

Greetings to the Quiet Professionals on the board...I just wanted to say Thank You, for everything You have done, for everything You are doing, and for everything You will do in the future to protect us little civilians here in America.
This past weekend, I had a scare here in my neck of the woods.
A scary man, in a scary truck following me and my girlfriends as we were on the hwy heading back to campus.
At first, nothing much was thought of this man in a blue truck...but he quickly persued my car, and followed us.
I turned off onto a Sonic stop, got out and ran for help.
The man pulled over to the shoulder of the highway, got out of his truck, and began rumaging through his truck bed.
The man turned out to be middle-eastern, and he turned out to be wanted by the authorities.
I thought about the SF Soldiers on this board, who were out in the thickets, before anyone else, before the storm...
fighting to make sure that we Americans are not harmed by folks who want to terrorize us.

Anyhow, a long overdue Thank You was my thought. You are much appreciated.

Holly

Glad to know you're OK. And thank you for nailing the "bad" man.

In this case you're the "hardcore" person!

TS, this really reminded me that even though I think I am tough and all, when it came down to it, I was scared.
This is why I Thank You all.

Holly,

Scared is good it tells you 2 things at the same time.

1. You are still alive to do something about the situation
2. You are not complacient and unaware.

The only time scared is bad is when it freezes you or prevents you from doing what needs to be done.

You did good, seriously you did very good....you walked away from the incident. Just replay the incident in your head and talk about it with your friends to figure out want you can do better next time.

Stay Safe,

Joe

Holly, I believe it's safe to say that WE are all glad that you are okay. Especially, I'm glad that you were able to keep your wits about you in a dangerous situation. Keep it up, and stay safe!

Don't make the mistake of thinking that we don't get scared. We do. You did good.

Greetings, and thank You guys for the kind words.
It occured to me today that it is a reality to live with
the scary people in this world, but at least we do not have to
live in fear of them.
Thanks, in most part, to folks like You on this Board.

Okay, off to do some PT.

Holly,

I'm glad you weren't hurt physically or emotionally. It's good that you aren't letting him "harm" you after the incident, but have used it to learn.

Take care.
