AT&T customers surprised by 'unlimited data' limit

Last yr I signed up for Verizon unlimited plan in July, because they were dropping it and were going to a tiered billing plan. I picked it because I could not find much info on what real usage was. Was 2gb enough?? was 30gb enough??

Now ATT is throttling their "unlimited" customers at around 2gb-3gb per month. Over the limit and you are considered the top 5%.

They did the same to me last year. I told them I would leave and I did (I don't bluff). I paid the fee to leave and had no problem doing so.

I am now with Verizon, grandfathered into the unlimited plan. I have no fear of going to sprint, now that they have the iPhone, if Verizon starts to play games.
