Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy!

Just saw this last night, A great Cold War spy thriller, MI6 trying to catch a KGB mole set in the early 70's. The cast is pretty much a who's who of classic British actors, it was very well done, and how the world has changed since 1972!

I, too, enjoyed it immensely. (Though sometimes one needs subtitles when Brits are talking! ) I think it helped to have read the book, because others with me were a bit confused. (I think they're just 'slow'.) Oldman did a terrific job of making his own a part that has been well-done previously.

I took TTSS to read when called for Jury Duty in the mid 70s. It kept putting me to sleep. I never fall asleep reading, especially in a crowded jury assembly room. Then again, I fell asleep 3 times trying to watch Blade Runner...still haven't seen it.
