This clown just can't keep his mouth shut...now he's insulting Allawi...full story at the link. This should endear the average Iraqi to us. Not to mention boost the morale of our Troops. Oh wait....he only cares about winning and making POTUS look bad any way he can.

I am sick to death of his disparaging attitude toward everything, he doesn't have a damn clue especially when it comes to Iraq.

Kerry: Allawi's Take on Iraq Unrealistic

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry (news - web sites) said Thursday that Iraq (news - web sites)'s Ayad Allawi was sent before Congress to put the "best face" on Bush administration policy.

Shortly after Allawi, the interim government's prime minister, gave a rosy portrayal of progress toward peace in Iraq, Kerry said the assessment contradicted reality on the ground.

"The prime minister and the president are here obviously to put their best face on the policy, but the fact is that the CIA (news - web sites) estimates, the reporting, the ground operations and the troops all tell a different story," Kerry said.

Why wasn't "the honorable Senator from Mass" at a joint session of congress? Does he only quote bad news from the CIA? How come he knows more about conditions in Iraq than a person who lives there? I thought Bush was the one who was supposed to be negative! So much for building a coalition. Even the Europeans are saying Kerry is "longwinded and evasive".

So...let's review shall we? Kerry attacks Allawi as "putting on his best face" and states that he made unrealistic claims about holding democratic elections in Iraq in January as scheduled....blah blah blah and now expects that last comment to stick as a positive?
