cornish game hen stuffing

im doing cornish hens this year and need a new stuffing recipe...i normally do a wild rice/mushroom stuffing but the wife nixed that cuz of her parents...ill be glazing them with maple bourbon sauce so i was thinking a fruit/nut stuffing...anybody got any ideas?

Lightly salt the bird. Stuff with diced apples and onions in cornbread. Personally I think pecans and walnuts are food of the devil, but you can add them if you like. Roast breast down st 325 for 35-45 minutes. Turn heat up to 400, turn bird over to brown evenly, 10-15 minutes. YMMV
