Special Forces Association Recruitment
I am not really sure where to ask these questions on the board so if this is in the wrong area I apologize in advance.
Currently I am an Associate Member ( A-3007) of Chapter 12 of the Special Forces Association. It's here in the So Cal area. Folks to put it bluntly we are hurting for new members. Our Chapter is very small and could use some fresh blood. If you are a retired or former member of the U.S. Special Forces in any capacity or you were Associated with SF during your time on active duty and you would still like to give back to the SF Community and participate in Civic activites and just hang out and have fun with some SF buddies please by all means PM me and I will give you some additional information about how to join.

SFA 23 is in Northern California near the Bay Area. I haven't attended any functions (too busy deployed) but I plan on going to the Xmas dinner this year.

Ah...just join SFA3. After all, what better excuse for a trip to Thailand than a Chapter meeting. And we even have indigs to party with.

How's the cost of living in Thailand these days? The only thing keeping Panee and I here now is the kids and grand children. Panee would never leave them.

Let's see...
I spend $200 a month in rent for a Condo and another $100 for all bills.
Probably spend $200 - 300 a month for food... I buy a lot of imported foodstuffs..
Taxis cost $1 + distance - I spend about $4 to go to work daily...
Not as cheap as ten years ago, but still way, way below the costs of anywhere in the U.S.

GH,
I may be coming back next year. I'm trying to strap hang with another team in my company since that team is short on Charlies.
